Richard Arnold Managing Director 

Richard has been involved in arboriculture since the late 1990’s, volunteering with the London Borough of Bromley’s countryside volunteers and following a keen fascination with trees and woodland ecology.

In 2002 , after completing a National Diploma in Arboriculture at Merrist Wood College in Guildford, Richard first set up a tree surgery business with Russell Coombs and in 2005 merged with the business with Tree Craft Ltd, to form a larger company. Richard and Russell assumed full ownership of Tree Craft in 2012 and since then the business has continued to go from strength to strength.

Russell Coombs Operations Director 

Originally qualified in amenity horticulture Russell became involved in woodland work whilst working at Wildernesse Golf Club in Sevenoaks. Upon completing his National Diploma in Arboriculture, Russell took on a full time practical teaching post at Merrist Wood college in the Arboricultural department. During his time there Russell gained a thorough knowledge of arboricultural training and became an NPTC assessor for arboricultural related operations in 2005. He also gained his certificate of competence in the “Thorough Examination of Arboricultural Equipment” (LOLER 1998) and successfully completed a course in advanced climbing techniques

Anthony McCarthy Senior Arboricultural Consultant 

Anthony runs the consultancy side of the business. His thorough and thoughtful approach to his work is a huge asset to our business and our clients.

Anthony originally came became interested in tree work, more than a decade ago, whilst working as a National Trust volunteer. He has worked as a tree surgeon for several renowned companies in the south east before gaining his Level 4 in Arboriculture. Since then Anthony has focused on arboricultural consultancy and joined the Tree Craft team in 2019 and our consultancy service has gone from strength to strength.

Andy Wenzel Operations Manager and Estimator 

Andy started his career in arboriculture when he joined Tree Craft in 2019. Prior to this Andy had worked in horticulture, at the excellent Coolings Garden Centre under the tutelage of Paul Cooling. He also worked as a gardener, where he developed his plant knowledge, which has stood him in good stead.

Andy is extremely motivated and capable and has progressed steadily through the ranks at Tree Craft, over the last few years. He works alongside Russell to ensure that work is quoted, planned and carried out to the highest standards.

Amanda
Office Manager

Amanda runs the office team at Tree Craft. She is very experienced and able to remain cool under pressure, which is a valuable trait in such a busy environment.

In her spare time, Amanda loves walking her dogs and doing arts and crafts – and has a side-hustle, making Christmas decorations and gift boxes.

Larissa
Office Administrator

Larissa is our longest-serving member of staff and, with Amanda, keeps the operational side functioning by managing the diaries efficiently and ensuring that everything behind the scenes is organised as it should be, for each job.

Larissa sings in a local choir and has recently taken up golf.

Jackie
Office Administrator

Jackie looks after customers care, answering the phones, booking in quotes and firewood deliveries for clients, dealing with queries, resolving any complaints and myriad other important admin duties.

In her spare time, Jackie loves to go to the theatre and up to town.

Karen
Office Administrator

Karen answers the phones and contacts our regular clients to book in their annual work. She is also renowned for dealing with any and all ad-hoc admin tasks which are thrown in her direction, always with good-natured humour.

Karen loves dog walking, cooking, playing the piano and spending time with her family.
